Two ways to reach us. Email gets a written reply within a couple of business days; Discord is where we hang out and where quick questions often get answered faster by us or the community.
We typically respond to email within 1-2 business days. Urgent issues affecting production use are prioritized.
What to Include in Your Message
Giving us these details up front saves a round trip and gets you a fix faster:
- App name and version - visible in the app's Settings or About screen (e.g., "AVR Maestro v2.9.6+131")
- Device and OS - phone/tablet model and operating system version (e.g., "iPhone 15 Pro, iOS 18.2" or "Samsung Galaxy S24, Android 15")
- What you expected to happen vs. what actually happened
- Steps to reproduce - how we can see the same issue on our side
- Screenshots or a short screen recording if the issue is visual
- Hardware context for device-control apps - receiver/NAS/UPS/projector model and firmware version if known
Most of our apps have a built-in "Send feedback" option that pre-fills this info for you - look for it on the About or Settings screen.

Common Questions
The app can't connect to my device on the local network
Our device-control apps (AVR Maestro, UPSight, Synology Manager, FuryPath, Projector Pilot) need to reach your hardware over Wi-Fi or Ethernet. If a device isn't appearing:
- Confirm your phone and the target device are on the same network (same SSID, same VLAN)
- Check that the device's network-control or API feature is enabled in its own settings menu
- On iOS, accept the "find and connect to devices on your local network" permission prompt the first time you run the app - if you denied it, re-enable in Settings → [App Name] → Local Network
- On Android, the app needs Wi-Fi + Internet permissions (granted on install by default)
- Some routers isolate devices from each other ("AP isolation" or "guest network") - disable isolation for the subnet your devices live on
The in-app rating prompt appeared - is it mandatory?
No. You can dismiss it, pick "Later" to defer, or tap "Never ask again" for a permanent lock. Choosing to rate us or send feedback is entirely optional and does not affect app functionality.
I bought the app - how do I get a refund?
All paid apps are purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Refund requests are handled by those platforms directly:
- Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com
- Google: Order history in Google Play
If you run into friction with either platform, email us and we'll help advocate for the refund.
My hardware changed behavior after a firmware update
Third-party manufacturers sometimes alter their network APIs between firmware versions. If the app suddenly behaves differently after you updated a device, email us the device model, previous firmware, current firmware, and what changed - we'll investigate and ship a fix if it's something we can adapt to.
Where can I see what changed in the latest version?
Open the app's About or Settings screen - most of our apps include a built-in changelog. Release notes also appear on the respective store listing.
Do you have a public roadmap?
We don't publish a fixed roadmap because we ship when the code is ready, not on a calendar. That said, if there's a feature you'd like to see, email us - user feedback directly influences what we build next.
