FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

How does FuryPath communicate with my HDFury device? +
FuryPath sends HTTP GET requests directly to your HDFury device on your local Wi-Fi network, using the same protocol used by HDFury's built-in web interface. Commands go to GET /cmd?key=value and status polling reads from GET /ssi/*.ssi endpoints. No external servers are involved. Your device must be on the same Wi-Fi network as your phone.
Which iOS and Android versions are supported? +
FuryPath is available on both iOS (iPhone and iPad) and Android. iOS requires iOS 16.0 or later. Android requires Android 5.0 (API 21) or higher.
Can I control my HDFury device remotely from outside my home? +
FuryPath connects to whatever IP address you configure. If your HDFury device is accessible via VPN or Tailscale, the app will work remotely. We recommend using a VPN or Tailscale rather than exposing your device directly to the internet.
Does it support all HDFury models? +
FuryPath supports VRRooM, VERTEX2, VERTEX, DIVA, Maestro, ARCANA2, Arcana, and Dr.HDMI 8K. The app auto-detects your device on connection and activates the feature set relevant to your model. Not all models support all features. JVC Macros, for example, are VRRooM-specific.
How much does FuryPath cost? +
FuryPath is a one-time purchase at $4.99. No subscription, no ads, no in-app purchases. You buy it once and own it.
Can I manage multiple HDFury devices? +
Yes. FuryPath supports multiple devices, each with its own settings, favorite tabs, and connection state. Switch between devices from the main dashboard with a single tap.
What is the Favorite Tabs feature? +
Each device has 8 feature tabs (INFO, EDID, HDR/AVI, DV, CEC/eARC, MACROS, OSD, CONFIG). You can pin up to 5 of them to the bottom navigation bar per device, so your most-used controls are always one tap away. Each device remembers its own favorites independently.
