Direct Network Connection. No Cloud Required.

ProjectorPilot communicates directly with your projector over Wi-Fi using standard network protocols. Your data never touches an external server.

Connect Over Wi-Fi

ProjectorPilot uses PJLink for standby detection and power control, plus the Epson Web Control API for full picture, lens, and settings control when powered on. Everything stays on your local network.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about ProjectorPilot.

Is ProjectorPilot affiliated with Epson?
No. ProjectorPilot is an independent, third-party application developed by MiyaraHub Technologies LLC. It is not created, endorsed, sponsored, or affiliated with Seiko Epson Corporation or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates in any way. "Epson" is a registered trademark of Seiko Epson Corporation. Our use of the name is purely to describe compatibility (nominative fair use).
Which projectors are supported?
ProjectorPilot works with all networked Epson projectors that support PJLink and/or Web Control. This includes most models from the past 10+ years — from the flagship QB1000 and LS12000 to mid-range Home Cinema and professional installation models. The app auto-detects available features on connection, so each user sees exactly what their projector supports. Baseline PJLink control also works with non-Epson projectors from NEC, Panasonic, Sony, and others.
How does ProjectorPilot communicate with my projector?
ProjectorPilot uses two protocols: PJLink (port 4352) for universal projector control including standby power-on, input switching, and lamp status; and the Epson Web Control API (port 80) with Digest authentication for rich settings control including picture, lens, keystone, HDR, and more. All communication happens directly on your local Wi-Fi network.
Can I control the motorized lens?
Yes, on projectors with motorized lens systems. ProjectorPilot provides full lens shift (horizontal and vertical), focus, and zoom control with real-time position feedback. You can also save and recall lens memory presets for different aspect ratios, screen positions, or viewing setups. Lens controls are automatically hidden for models without motorized lenses.
Does it support HDR and wide color gamut?
Yes. ProjectorPilot lets you control dynamic range settings (Auto, HDR10, HLG, SDR), color space (Auto, BT.709, BT.2020), and provides per-channel RGB gain and offset adjustments for precise color calibration. HDR features are shown only on models that support them.
Can I power on the projector from standby?
Yes. ProjectorPilot uses PJLink to power on your projector even when it's in standby mode. As long as your projector is connected to your network (wired LAN recommended for standby wake), you can turn it on and off from your phone.
How much does ProjectorPilot cost?
ProjectorPilot is a one-time purchase at $4.99. No subscription, no ads, no in-app purchases. You buy it once and own it. Pricing may change before launch.
Which Android version is required?
ProjectorPilot requires Android 5.0 (API 21) or higher. It is an Android-only app for now. iOS support may be added in a future release.
